Welcome to Amherst-Pelham Public School Nutrition Services

Welcome to the Nutrition Program for Amherst-Pelham Public Schools

Breakfast and Lunch will continue to be Free for All Students for the 2021-2022 School Year

We will not have adult meals or ala carte items for sale to start the school year

Please be aware that last minute menu changes are occurring frequently due to national supply chain shortages.

The USDA is funding a Free Meal Program for the entire school year for all children regardless of Free or Reduced Lunch Status. Every student will be able to take one meal per meal period.

Even though meals will be free for the school year please take the time to fill out the free and reduced eligibility application if you think you might qualify. If you receive a letter from the ARPS Food Services Office stating that your child qualifies for free or reduced meals by Direct Certification from the Department of Health and Human Services, you DO NOT have to fill out a 2021-2022 application.

Families that qualify for Free or Reduced meals may be eligible for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Benefits (SNAP) which provide monthly financial assistance for qualifying Massachusetts residents to purchase groceries. You can find out if you are eligible for SNAP by calling Project Bread's FoodSource Hotline at 1-800-645-8333 or at DTA Connect: https//

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
